Jesus, Good Shepard, You who called your apostles to be fishers of men and women of their time, even today we ask You to call many young people to follow You: to stay with You and to become Your instruments.

You who desire to save all who anxiously seek for You, the only light of Truth, let many young people respond to your call and announce the Gospel as far as the ends of the earth, so that they may be the light of the world and the salt of the earth.

Call, O Lord, many young people who, like the wise virgins, will consecrate themselves to You, so as to live in a profound relationship with You, and to serve You in the Church, Your Body, by dedicating themselves to the service of their neighbors, those who ardently ask for help and love. Virgin Mary , you who are the holiest of all creatures, and who totally abandoned yourself to God for the salvation of the world, obtain for us the gift of a holy life and ask for courage for many young people so that they will answer ‘yes’ to God’s plan of love that God proposes to them for their greatest happiness.
